VISUAL CONTENT CREATOR - Request for Quotes


We are Bread SRSLY, makers of wildly nourishing, SERIOUSLY delicious, gluten-free and vegan sourdough bread in Oakland, CA. Our mission is to reunite people with sourdough when they thought good bread was off the table. We bake thousands of loaves of bread each week, ship them all over the US to eager gluten-free eaters, and sell them locally at natural foods stores up and down the West Coast. We value organic ingredients, sustainable business practices, fun in the workplace, and meaningful relationships with our staff, our vendors and our customers.


We are seeking quotes for video content to be created throughout the year on an ongoing and as-needed basis. As Bread SRSLY’s Visual Content Creator, you will be responsible for producing, creating and editing content based on briefs and ideas from our marketing team. We’re primarily looking for someone who has experience styling and filming CPG products for multi-brand giveaways and website content. You will also have the opportunity to create short-form vertical videos for Bread SRSLY’s TikTok, Instagram, and other social platforms. We’re looking for someone with a great eye who can put together visually appealing and crave-worthy compositions. We value communication, collaboration, and teamwork with our partners! 


The Visual Content Creator will:

  • Produce, capture, and edit content including but not limited to: multi-brand giveaways, UGC-style imagery, on-site content, Bread SRSLY specific content (such as new products, FAQs, etc), basic recipe execution, and behind-the-scenes

  • Create highly engaging content, in alignment with Bread SRSLY’s brand voice

  • Recommend and build content with the latest best practices and algorithms in mind


We are looking for someone who:

  • Has strong content creation skills (photography, videography, lighting, editing)

  • Is responsive and able to work efficiently in accordance with set timelines

  • Is enthusiastic about quality food, health, and wellness

  • Is proactive and has strong attention to detail

  • Is comfortable receiving and implementing feedback


Basic Requirements:

  • Previous experience with filming content for brands, particularly in the CPG or health and wellness space

  • Comfortability with editing tools such as CapCut

  • Basic food styling experience

  • Access to equipment for video / audio / lighting etc.

  • Based in California (ideally you are located in the SF Bay Area, Los Angeles, or Orange County where Bread SRSLY has retail presence)


Extra Credit:

  • Experience with recipe development

  • In-depth knowledge of a gluten-free lifestyle/celiac disease, sourdough, or food allergies and intolerances


This is an ongoing, project-based, 1099 position.
