Low on Time? Make "Cheater" Cinnamon Rolls

This is the biggest hack for cinnamon buns. Just use your favorite dinner roll, top with a cinnamon and melted butter syrup, and bake until soft and gooey

Compared to from-scratch cinnamon roll recipes, these cheater cinnamon rolls takes 75% less time to make, at only 15 minutes total time!

Want Cinnamon Rolls Lower In Sugar? This Recipe is also For You.

These Cheater Cinnamon Rolls have only 4 grams of sugar. This is about 85% less sugar than your average cinnamon roll. Our dinner rolls are not made from a sweet dough, therefore, this recipe results in lower sugar.

Our buttery topping uses date syrup rather than refined sugar. Though maple syrup or refined sugar would work just fine and have similar amounts of total sugar. Plus, dates have potassium, magnesium, and antioxidants

We use our Bread SRSLY gluten-free sourdough dinner rolls for this cheater recipe. Bread SRSLY's sourdough is made from wild fermentation in which lactic acid bacteria eats at starches and sugars resulting in a lower glycemic index bread. We use no refined sugars in our breads. Another great reason to make this cinnamon roll recipe!
