Classic Bruschetta on Gluten-Free Sourdough Toast

Gluten-Free Sourdough Toast with Bruschetta and Fresh Tomatoes and Basil

Use up summer’s seasonal, juicy tomatoes with this take on Classic Bruschetta! Bright and flavorful tomatoes are the perfect pair for tangy Bread SRSLY Classic Gluten-Free Sourdough in this simple vegetarian recipe. Dairy free? No problem! Substitute toasted pine nuts, hemp seeds, or your favorite vegan cheese alternative for an equally delicious, plant-based dish that is best served in the sunshine with friends!

Gluten-Free, Vegan Option

Serves: 4-6



2 cups chopped tomatoes 

1 clove garlic, minced

½ tsp lemon zest

2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

2 tbsp olive oil

½ cup basil leaves, torn

¼ cup parmesan, grated (or vegan alternative)



2 tbsp olive oil

4 pieces diagonally sliced Bread SRSLY Classic Gluten-Free Sourdough

1 clove garlic, cut in half

Sea salt



  1. In a large bowl, combine tomatoes, garlic, lemon zest, vinegar, and olive oil. Let sit for 5-10 minutes.
  2. Toast the bread in a toaster, or heat in a pan until golden. Drizzle with olive oil, and rub garlic overtop. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
  3. Spoon the tomato mixture onto the bread, top with basil and parmesan cheese, and enjoy!
